Ever since starting planq and clarithromycin I think I have been herxing with no sign of it fading . I feel far worse both physically and emotionally than before starting. How long have others herxed for?

Also has anyone who has emotional herxes ever taken an anti- depressant for this and it helped? My llmd recommended ciprolex to get me over the main herxIng?

Well, I got the reaction about 4-5 days after starting rocephin, and it still hasn't passed yet - its been 3 weeks so far for me. I don't know how long its going to last, but it sucks for the time being. We've got to ride the wave. It WILL get better!

Also, I've been on Zoloft for years - I'm assuming its a good thing I'm on it. [Smile]

I am taking cymbalta. It has helped. My herxes are shortening in duration. I started levaquin and really only herxed a couple days. I have been treating 19 months so maybe my bacterial load is down. Feel better and dont forget to detox.

Thanks guys I take it it is not uncommon to herx and feel way worse for a few weeks or more at the start of treatment. I just wish I could look into the future and see an end , the uncertainty of when it will stop kills me
