Hi folks:
First..I am knocking on wood here big time.
Anyway..I wanted to update everyone on my progress. I was diagnosed in May 2010 after 5 months of illness. I've been in treatment for almost 2 years. Dx'd with Lyme, Bart, and Babesia Duncani.
I made rapid improvement initially and then was in a plateau more or less for most of 2011.
In January 2012 I switched to a new (very famous) LLMD and started a brand new protocol of Bicillin, Biaxin XL, Plaquenil, Cryptolepis, Mepron, and LDN.
3 weeks after starting the Bicillin I started to feel a bit off / bad. I had a big flare of my usual suspects of problematic symptoms. Namely vision weirdness, TMJ stiffness, fatigue, sweating, muscle twitching, neck pain, etc. This lasted for the entire month of March.
Well, here we are on April 17 and I have to say that I have felt really GREAT the past week.
Today I spent all day working in the yard in the hot sun. No fatigue. No major sweating issues (I have sweated profusely with minimal exertion for the past several years.) I have energy...my mind is clear, etc.
The only symptoms that I am noticing right now is minor tinnitus, minor / very occasional muscle twitching in my calves, and mild night sweats. But otherwise all is good.
I still have some distance to go. But I haven't felt this good in a really long time. And I wanted to report it to the group as I know everyone here appreciates good news.

That is great bcb. We do appreciate good news and we also like to know what is working for others so thanks so much for sharing.
Be on your guard and keep on treating until you are symptom free for two months. I hope that happens very soon.

That's so great!!! I am happy to hear you are reminded of what 'normal' is again!! It's definitely a sign you are on the right track.
As you continue to improve, these periods of 'normal' will last longer and come more frequently, and bad days will become moments or hours.

Great news that you have noticed such improvement! That's what a great doc will do for ya. If I could see any doc, he would be one that I would choose.
Are you treating lyme and babs? I'm curious as to why this is working so well.

Well I seem to have spoken too soon. After a month of feeling wonderful it is as if someone threw a switch yesterday. It started in the AM with a bit of a hoarse voice. THen fatigue set in.
Then flushing, hot flashes, dizziness, nausea.
Sweating more now. Feeling off / foggy.
Hoping it is just a flare. Seems very Babs like. And no, I don't think I have FL1953 as I tested 100% negative on The Dr. F test. And I don't have any other symptoms. Hoarse voice, yes. But I've had this off and on long before lyme. it is a GERD symptom for me.
