Hi Gael,

You have been such a steady force here on Lymenet. I've said it before, but cannot say it enough.... Thank you. We all need to hear it over and over and over again, the important of treating parasites.

Was wondering....
Do you happen to have a summary of your journey? What your symptoms were, the treatments were? And how exactly you came to use salt/C and herbs, and how long it took to work and show results?

There are so many Lyme people I come across and try to tell them about the importance of treating parasites. It's not usually a topic that seems to take hold. I'd love to share with them a print-out of someone's personal experience.

No pressure, if you haven't written your summary or if you don't want to. Just thought I'd ask.

Thanks so much for your ongoing support,
Tammy

Hi Tammy,

Was away and just saw this. I can give you a short synopsis of my journey. To begin with, I was dx in 1999 by a well known LLMD after being misdiagnosed for over 30 yrs.

Many hospital admissions over the yrs, 5 central lines in chest at different times, Had peritonitis, pancreatitis, and on another hospitalization, my lung filled and the doctor managed to puncture the other lung while inserting central line (my veins were shot due to being sick for so long)

Was on abx for 4 yrs incl 6 mos of IV Rocephin, had 2 yrs of IVIG, but was still very sick. I had developed lesions on my back, tush and scalp.

I found Lymenet in 2006, and that's when I found the www.lymephotos.com site.

Still had no clue I had the Filarial worm co-infection pictured. Someone at Whole Foods suggested antiparasitic herbs, and did 6 mos of herbs from The Monastery of Herbs, and when I added salt/c, the parasites poured out of me for mos.

Have continued with antiparasitic herbs and salt/c.

Both have saved my life. The lesions are gone and all of my Lyme symptoms. Still dealing with some digestive issues (Bells palsy of the gut)but have my life back.

Anyway, hope that sums it up and Thank You for the kind compliments. I just hope my journey can help others find their way back.

Gael

Yes, I'm always curious when Gael chimes in because I feel all my symptoms start and end in my lower gut.

Gael, you tested positive for lyme and co's right? I'd hate to abandon my ABX protocol to try Salt C & herbs. I really do think it would improve my symptoms although it prob wouldn't go far in fighting my myriad of co's.

You don't have to abandon your current abx. Many people that visit the lymestrategies site who are on salt/c also take abx.

P. S. I forgot to mention in the above post that I tested positive for Lyme, bart, babs and erlichia. Doctor also found a bullseye on top of my head making me CDC positive.

I also had almost every symptom on the Lyme lists and also the symptom list at Humaworm for parasites which are very similar to the Lyme lists.

Wow. Wow. So six months of anti-parasitic herbs wasn't enough to expel them. It took adding the salt/c that did it. Just curious, when you say 'pouring out of you', what do you mean.... in your BMs? Or other places too?

Thank you for taking the time to summarize. It gives great hope to those of us who have been dealing with this a long time and worry that there is no end in site.

I am so happy that you are now well. Isn't that amazing? Did you ever think you'd "get there"?

When I just did a short stint of anti-parasitic meds, I was passing them. I stopped the meds because of a terrible reaction to Alinia that sent me over the edge. I haven't been quite right since. Lost 12-14 lbs that I haven't regained since (I am very small to begin with so this is upsetting).

I will be re-starting with Ivermectin this week. It will be for 2 weeks. (I handled this well last time). I've also ordered Humaworm that I will do right after.

I need to be careful with my kidneys, so I want my doc to oversee the salt/c. I have to talk more about this at my next visit.

Thanks again. You really are wonderful at how kindly and patiently you repeat your same message. Everyone needs to hear this.
