I need OTC pain relief once or twice a week and I would like to know what to take. I stopped taking NSAIDs (ibuprofen and Aleve) a year ago because I'd read they are bad for leaky gut. I switched to Tylenol, thinking I was doing the right thing, but I've read on here that even a little bit can stress/damage the liver. -------------------- Clinical dx/muscle tests + CBS upregulation, parasites, babs - bart, KPU, yeast, mold Blood tests MCTD (autoimmune): +RNP MTHFR - homozygous C677T CD57 - 192 Diet - modified paleo

I would not say this is the best but it does take the edge off my aches and pains. I use Arnica Montana 30X and take about 3 or 4 under the tongue. I get it from pureformulas.com. You can get it as a cream also. All the Best, MattH

Thanks for all your replies. I would have responded sooner, but I've had trouble connecting to Lymenet the last few days. Are any of these things "fast acting", or do I need to take them continually? I feel like my pain is pretty well managed with daily Plaquenil and magnesium, but I'm looking for something to take "as needed" when I over-do it. -------------------- Clinical dx/muscle tests + CBS upregulation, parasites, babs - bart, KPU, yeast, mold Blood tests MCTD (autoimmune): +RNP MTHFR - homozygous C677T CD57 - 192 Diet - modified paleo

I think curcumin works better if taken at least twice a day. It's an anti-inflammatory. -------------------- --Lymetutu-- Opinions, not medical advice!
