so I asked for a small dose of an antidepressant, and I got this, but a lot of my problem is anxiety. Does anyone have success with wellbutrin helping with anxiety.
In my research it doesn't look like wellbutrin works on anxiety, just depression.

Wellbutrin has been around for quite awhile. It is used for general depression and anxiety disorders.
Doctors usually pick these medicines based on your symptoms and their real life experience treating other patients. They prescribe what they think will work best for you.
It is important for you to trust your doctor. Ask them questions if you are concerned about the new medicine. Some different anti-depressants can also help improve sleep, some can help with pain, some can help improve energy... Different people feel better on different medicines.
Remember, once you start the Welbutrin it may take a couple weeks before you notice any improvements. Keep in touch with your doctor, they will want to know how you are doing.

I love Wellbutrin. I've been on it for 10 years. I remember after a month, thinking, "I don't feel like the other shoe is going to drop".
