Hi everyone!

I went to the ocean for a month and slept better and felt better than I have for a while.

I did a little research and it looks like negative ions (found in nature where there are electrons being forced from atoms) have a positive effect on health and well-being.

Negative ions are plentiful around ocean waves, in radiation from the sun, waterfalls, forests, fire, basically anywhere there is "action" in nature.

Also, that positive ions (from electronics, heating/ac systems, basically any machines) have a negative effect on health and well-being.

Do any of you work to increase negative ions in the home? If so, what do you do?

I am working on being on the computer less, using candles instead of electric lights when I can, keeping windows open, sitting outside every day.

i am now using an ionizer in my cellar...my brother said it would stop mold....it was getting a little musty and we are planning to put in exhaust fan

anyone know if that machine makes neg ions?

i am trying so hard to just go live by the ocean...but will use the machine as plan B if neccesary

Thanks for the ideas. I just found out that there is a community pool nearby that has salt water instead of chlorine.

I'll start exercising there when I'm able :-)

lpkayak - the biomat has FIR in it, so you lie on it, covered up by something, like a blanket - in my case, I lay in a sleeping bag on it.

It takes longer to sweat on than being in a tent, but it still works. I listened to a CD during the time.
