what's the best way to start out. I just started it today. Im on one tsp 2x daily. Im so nauseated and dizzy.

I had it with a bowl of gluten free cereal and light almond milk. I stayed at the one tsp for today thinking maybe I'll gradually work up to two tsp? Is it ok to do that.

Also if anyone can share what got better after taking mepron I'd love to hear success stories. It took alot to get this stuff, Im praying it's like liquid gold. lol

I haven't had any trouble with mepron, myself. I guess I'm lucky, because I've heard of some bad reactions to it.

One thing, though, is you are supposed to take it with fat, such as almond butter or any healthy fat. Mepron needs fat to do its job.

It's ok to work up to the full dose. Maybe take 1/2 a tsp twice a day for a while. Mepron needs to be taken twice a day 12 hours apart at the same time each day. I believe that is because it needs to reach a therapeutic level and maintain it without fluctuations.

ok thank you. I didnt know that about the fat. My doc never mentioned it. Ill try the half dose twice a day, thanks so much.

Do you feel it made a big difference in how you feel? what does it hit specifically?

I suggest you read what this webpage says about taking Mepron since you weren't given any instructions:

http://www.lymebook.com/antibiotic-treatment-for-babesia-bartonella-ehrlichia-co-infections

You don't want to waste your time and the money spent on the Mepron. So, follow all the rules--must take it with fat, can't take certain supplements, etc.
