Out of all the abx I've been on biaxin and plaquenil are by far the worst. I seem to be herxing really hard on it. And I've been on rifampin and azithromax, azithromax and mepron, doxy, none of them made me feel this bad. Has anyone else had this experience? What do you think it means?

Kat ,what symptoms are you getting from them ,,

I keep trying to do plaq,,many say it's good , I just feel rotten when I try.

Well, more so than usual,,
So If it's a herx , that means it's killing bug.
some say big herx is good , some say not to be so rough on body..

I just want well... I really would love a 30-50% jump.to start . I'd of course would take full recovery...

Is fatigue a big issue with you? Pain? upset gut?

How long have you been sick? Are you on any new supplements ,also?

Not trying to be in your business...
Just somethings could make the difference,,

Like I thought GSE was like popping a Vitamin or something, Just a little booster...WRONG,,

I had many reactions to it...Sticking with it though... [Roll Eyes]

I couldn't add plaquinil to the biaxin, it upset my stomach tenfold. more than all those others you mention. So I never really gave it a chance to see if I herxed. It happend on the first pill.

I seem to get a boost the first week on any new combo... then I herx, and then the 2nd month I feel pretty good and then I herx again and either get worse or plateau.

I feel more fatigued and achy with muscle soreness. Basically my symptoms intensified. I don't know whether to continue it or not.

I could not handle plaquenil, heart pounding hard, chest pain, stomach bad. Even if it was a herx instead of a drug reaction I could not tolerate it. But I think it was a drug reaction. Biaxin alone I can tolerate.

Try to persist. It is a Herx and that's good. If it's too much for you, you might try to start with just Biaxin for a week and see how you do. If Herx is better, add in 1 Plaquenil in am. If it's too bad, do one every other day. Work up as you feel a bit better. Plaquenil is a good cyst buster.
