As a matter of fact, I am. Maybe that's why I feel like I need a big clean-out.

Try a warm water enema or some salt/c to get you started. You probably have dead parasites sitting in your lower colon. You need to get them out. Drinking more water can also help.

I like Miralax for a fast reliable fix. If you are backed up take 1 capful now at bedtime. If no relief in the morning take another with breakfast. If no relief after lunch take another capful, repeat at bedtime... It will work. You shouldn't have to take that many doses!
Miralax pulls water into your bowel and forms a gel that helps get things moving again. Makes everything softer and kinda pushes the stool along.
Magnesium is good for daily maintenance. I like a mixed mag capsule. I take several grams daily. You have to work up to bowel tolerance. I don't like plain mag oxide. I've tried many different types including oxy powder. Mag oxide pulls water into your bowel and essentially liquifies your stool.
Another overnight help you can try is half cup of apple juice and half cup of prune juice. Warm this mixture up and drink together. It's called "the bomb". Prescribed by ortho docs instead of RX meds at a local hospital. They use this to get patients bowels moving again after surgery when they are on narcotic pain meds. Learned this when my mom had surgery. Apparently it works well for many people.

I tend more toward the loose side of things. No prunes needed here!
I think I just feel toxic in my bowel. I've heard Oxy-Powder is good for cleansing and maintenance. It's supposed to supply oxygen via Magnesium Oxide and some other stuff.
Do bowels need oxygen? You'd think that would be good to keep the anaerobic populations under control.

I've been on many ABX and managed good flora until I took Amoxi 2G TID. Then it was loose all the time. I had to stop for 2-3 days and up the kefir. Taking more kefir always works for me if stool tends to go soft with any of the other ABX.
Typically 1 cup a day suffices and with some days 23 days skipped at a time. With the Amoxi and consistent soft stools, I drank close to 1 quart for 3 days and then tapered off. It felt like mush and had those stomach burns until it went away.

Yes, I always have Oxy Powder here- I've never taken more than 2 caps-
in the night, away from other meds,
total clean out.

- Rhubarb is always very helpful to me. Seven Forests Rhubarb 17. Gentle but "decisive" its ability to balance the lower GI tract - and it feels nutritious. -
