Babs duncani was treated for 18 months with Mepron and then Malarone, but I still had hot flashes that came back towards end of treatment. LLMD thought they could be related to bart or heavy parasite infection.
I have been treating bart for 4 months with rifampin and doxy along with ceftin and plaquenil.
I am using a rife machine in case babs isn't finished. Hot flashes are still a problem.
Anyway, PCP labs revealed low ferritin level, so he suggested Vitron C.
If babs duncani is still active, will Vitron C make it worse since babs feeds off of iron?
Does Vitron C cause constipation? Any better options?

I supplemented iron throughout my entire treatment. Babs might need iron, but you do, too. It's not like you can starve out the infection.
