Hoping to get some info on good herbs for Bart.

I am currently taking Rifampin and Biaxin but would like to add some effective herbs in also.

Also, how long until most start to see some improvement in bart symptoms once on treatment. I have been treating 4 months with little progress.

Thank you very much!!

Birdie,

I am also on Rif and Biaxin. I am pulsing Rif for 3 days a week. In addition I am taking Houttuynia, from 1st Chinese Herbs. I get the 1 lb powder and buy a 1000 capsules and take about 6 capsules a day.

Some of my Lyme symptoms have improved but not sure I am making a lot ot progress against Bart. However my LLMD said 3 to 6 months and I have just hit 6 months.

Also you can look into HH from Dr Zhang. Here is a post with links from Manybites;

search here .Also from hepapro.com buy HH and start slowly, Zhangs pills.

You can lower the dosage but is not good to stop the treatment in SPECIALLY RIFAMPIN.As the infection become resistant.

Add Pekana BIG 3 combo to detox for lymp , Liver and kidney .It will help.It kept me SANE when I was on treatment for babesia where I did not wanted to take the binders do to Mepron .I wanted it to stay in my system.

Google and you will find it .It was recomended lately and I used it.

check the marks of bartonella on the cover.

Read Bartonella book from Dr JS .
http://www.lymebook.com/bartonella-schaller

also read about bartonella treatment from Stephen Buhner at planet thrive .

All the Best, MattH

Thank you jlcd1, I have some cumanda and will try that again.

MattH, thank you very much for the info. It's funny how different Doctors treat, I am taking Rifampin, 600mg every day.

I will look into the things you have mentioned. I recall hearing good things about HH from Dr Zhang.

Thanks again for the help!

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi/topic/1/57971

this was an old post of mine, containing all herbs I used for bart.

They helped but I think bart came back again (with new reinfection if my memory was good).

Today, i would try directly the homeopathic bart, something from Deseret biologicals or anything similar. Possibly faster than going by drungs or herbs.

It is anyway one of the last infections to go, if my memory is good. When it goes, usually borrelial infection is next to the end. At least, if you go by any conventional treatment method (drugs, herbs, homeopathy).

Good luck!
