I've had unusual breast tenderness for almost a month. I'm definitely not pregnant (lyme being it's own birth control), but the feeling is similar.
It's a little disconcerting... I'm 39, and not in early menopause. Most of my symptoms are joint & muscular.
Could this be a herx? I'm on Mepron, zith, amox.... am due to start artemisinin in a week.

I think it is part of a Herx. This happens to me. They also feel full. I think there are glands in that area that hold toxins
Usually I feel pretty bloated when that happens too.
I definitely think it is a Herx or just holding toxins
Are you doing anything to detox? At may help
Hate this symptom!

Maybe check with your Dr. to see if you may add Evening of Primrose oil to help.

This is listed as a lyme symptom in Burrascano, as you can see.
Sometimes, the breasts will even produce milk. You may want to try squeezing the breasts to see if milk will come out.
Some women have this lyme symptom for months on end or even longer.

I just want to add that I have spoken to at least 3 lyme patients who had this symptom continually, and they often got milk from their breasts when they tried.
I would discuss it with the lyme doctor before I decided to go to other doctors for it. That would likely be a fiasco.
From what I understand, these symptoms will simply go away when you sufficiently treat lyme and coinfections.
