I just got back from a week long vacation in the mountains of NY state. (I got TONS of bug bites, but no tick bites that I know of.) The day after I got home, I noticed that my eyes felt like they were blurry and watery... I had to try a lot harder to focus. After I returned to work, it got way worse. Granted, the lighting in my office is horrible --- new flourescent lights are wayyyy too bright, so I leave them off and use a lamp. Switching my eyes from dark computer screens to light screens and different sized fonts is really tough. After work, as I try to drive home, I feel like I should be wearing glasses! I have ALWAYS had perfect vision! It's very scary!!! I have been unsuccessful at reaching my LLMD in Jackson, NJ. In my panic, I made an appt. with an opthamologist for tomorrow. Not knowing what he will say is causing this, I just want to make sure that I don't make my Lyme stuff worse by taking drops or meds that are only for non-lyme patients. Also, does anyone know what other treatments/supplements are good for this? For all the years I have been battling this disease, it has never involved my eyesight.
Thanks everyone!!

Breaking this up for easier reading.
Well, I hope my post will be able to help you! I went through a similar experience, of worsening in my vision.
A neuro-opthalmologist did all his tests, which I passed, even though he had to anesthetize my eyes for me to be able to look at light.
He wanted to give me steroid drops, which I know are not good for Lyme patients. Out of curiosity, I did the first couple drops - didn't notice anything.
Then my chiropractor the next day suggested that I try drinking mangosteen juice, an anti-inflammatory antioxidant juice.
It has 43 xanthone compounds that scarf up free radicals created by all the inflammation, since Lyme loves to hang out in the eyes.
I tried the juice, and it worked - cleared up all eye symptoms in 24 hours! There are lots of brands in healthfood stores and online. I've done the Mango-Xan and Ultra ones. I drink a half-ounce in the am and pm.
We're all different when it comes to what will work for each of us. If you want to try the juice, and it works, let us know!

Wow, that's pretty amazing that it worked so fast! I will definitely give that a try! Is the Mangosteen juice similar to ZRII?
