My boyfriend was bitten by a tick about a month ago
For safety precautions. i gave him some doxycycline. I had an extra prescription for it with refills. I had him take 400 mg of it a day. however he only did this for about 2 weeks
He didnt have the money to buy probiotics and I couldnt afford to give him some of mine so we just stopped the doxy because of that
Now hes been getting very persistent watery eye. his eyes will just tear all up. it just keeps happening. theyre not always red but they turn a bit red from time to time. bu always watering.this morning he had some white discharge in his eye. not alot but a little.
this has been going on for a few weeks.
could this be because of the tick bite? Lyme and Coinfections? someone he knows gave him some antibiotic eye drops because they just had conjunctitis last week
what do you think? opinions greatly appreciated!

It could also be lyme. Ther are instances whereby lyme infections of the eye cause tearing and spirochetes were found in the eye fluid. I had increased floaters before my lyme was diagnose. Keep an eye on him, no pun intended.
