I have scheduled an appt for next week and hopefully can start on Bicillin. And hopefully the first injection can be given there in the office.

I always start out low with anything in case of problems. I am sure the doctor will have her input - but I am just wondering - the first injection - maybe "just" 600,000 units or so?

Wouldn't it make sense that in the event of a reaction it would be better to have less in one's system?

I think in the past I have taken some form of Pen in oral form. But cannot remember what are when. What are some common oral forms of Pen?
If I can recognize what I have previously taken - even if years ago - and had no problems - that means I probably would be OK with an IM form of Pen?

Re: Bactrim DS
After ER visit some months ago for alleged bronchitis I was sent home with Rx for Bactrim DS - or rather the generic. I took four of the pills. I felt like the bronchitis was creeping back and asked for and received Zith instead.

Point: I survived four Bactrim DS pills.
I only later researched and read horror stories about it. I don't think I noticed much of anything with just the 4 pills. Does that mean something - something good? Is Bactrim prescribed for LD and/or Bart?

Thanks. Sorry I cannot express myself in ten words or less.

Most people from LN who have taken the Allergie Immun test found that they were allergic to penicillin, all mucors, and the major toxic metals.
This means that detoxing any of these is practically impossible, because the body does not recotgnize them as toxins.

I have been very concerned about allergic reactions after a severe reaction a few years ago that resulted in my needing to be hospitalized for several days due to breathing issues.

I was disappointed that when I started the bicillin shots the first one was not going to be given in a controlled environment. I did have an epipen but was still very nervous.

I think you should test only a small dose to see how you handle it, and do it in a medically controlled environment.
