My daughter just got from a trip to Texas and Oklahoma for a missions trip with our church.

I'm 99% sure she has lyme. She has at least three deep round red round rashes and told me she has a headache and joint pain.

Could someone please tell me how to post a picture so I can show all of you what the rashes look like?

She's been lyme free for at least 5 years.

The soonest I could get her in to see an LLMD is 7/26 which is supposed to be my follow up with my LLMD.

I've been on herbal treatments due to C Diff so I don't have antibiotics sitting around the house.

Is there some thing herbal I can give her to get by until we see the LLMD 7/26?

Oh wow. I'm so sorry.

You may as well commit to that final 1%. There is no doubt she has Lyme.

I got mine after a trip to OK. OK and TX are crawling with infected ticks.

Will her PCP Rx Doxy based on the rash? That would be standard protocol. And it would get her through until the 26th.

Do you have Flagyl for your C.diff? That would be a good place to start, too.

Samento, Andrographis, Teasel, Resveratrol from Polygonum Cuspidatum (not grapes). There are many great herbs.

Go to www.buhnerhealinglyme.com

You'll find many protocols listed.

But, seriously, try to get that Doxy.

And I am SO SORRY!!!

I don't want to jack your thread, but I would love to know what herbs you're taking for C.diff. It has been a constant struggle for me. I am also on an Rx, herbal, probiotic regimen.

I would give her some antiparasitic herbs like Parastroy or Humaworm because they can go after more than one infection. Humaworm also has a list of herbs for Lyme. www.humaworm.com

You can also start her on low dose salt/c which is a natural abx and also goes after Lyme and Co.

Visit lymestrategies for more info on that.

BoxerMom -

Dr. H recommends this probiotic to all his IV patients to combat potential C-Diff. He says it is very effective.

Tickalert - You may want to discuss this with your LLMD for your daughter ...

May 2011 study
(Tinidazole more effective than Doxycycline)

Also - There's an herbal remedy that's supposed to be very effective ... anyone here know which one it is??
