Does anyone else have increased neuro symptoms after showering? Worse dizziness, disorientation, confusion, anxiety, etc. I even sit down to shower and shower in warm/cool water. Any ideas?

Showering sometimes makes my symptoms worse, especially dizziness and weakness. I think if I use cooler water I feel better. I don't know if it's the steam from warm water or what. I also have POTS which can cause a lot of blood pooling and being upright in the warm water makes things worse. I've heard a lot of people with POTS spray their legs with cold water when they shower to constrict the blood vessels there and reduce pooling. That seems to help me somewhat too.

Sky, my dizziness and leg weakness are much worse after a shower or bath. I always assumed the feeling like I was going to pass out after showering was related to POTS , but i do have babs as well, so perhaps that is the main cause.
I find that taking lukewarm baths and showers helps the most. Jess.

Thanks a lot. I have never treated babs and always kind of doubted having it (or scared to treat it). I don't have sweats or chills. However, I am geting sicker even though I have treated lyme for awhile. I guess I am just scared of mepron. Should I be?
