ok, i'm really confused. normal...

when i say i have pain under my rib on my right side i am looking down and i'm right handed.

my sis says, no, you look at a person and that is your LEFT side cause i'm looking directly at you.

so where is your liver and pancreas then? left or right?

right handed, right side...pain is on right...

but according to her and others, nope, it's when you look at a person then it's left side.

arrrghhhhhh,,,,,so which is which???

Huh??? Your sister is wrong.

The pancreas is kinda in the middle. Right sided pain could be from your colon or from your bile duct. From your symptoms you've described earlier I don't think it's your bile duct.

Location of the pancreas:

I don't think your sister is aware that the science and medical professions have already decided this.

Human anatomical terms
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_anatomical_terms

Use of the terms right and left

When anatomists refer to the right and left of the body, it is in reference to the right and left of the subject, not the right and left of the observer.
When observing a body in the anatomical position, the left of the body is on the observers right, and vice versa.
