Buhner's book says Source Naturals brand, which is capsules, but I think that's because it's resveratrol from knotweed ... I'm sure other brands are okay, as long as it's knotweed.

Buhner's website says to use Green Dragon Botanicals over Source Naturals now. If you go to his website, you will see updates to what is in the book and his second book is out now.
I know that source naturals is cheaper but I am going to stick with the preferred band from Green Dragon Botanicals. I am getting Cats Claw in powdered form as the main source Raintree has it backordered.

My main complaint with Green dragon is that they run out regualrly and I wind up waiting 3 weeks for a new bottle. The shipping almost kills the good price that they have. But I think they have a good product.

buying in bulk and encapsulating oneself saves bookoos of money - especially if you are using a lot of knotweed per day

I order a multiple bottles at a time. Yes shipping is lousy. I ordered and received 5 bottles fast recently.
Next time I will have to get more at one time with two of us taking it to make sure we don't run out. I would love another source but Dr. Buhner said this is the best product.
If they run out of it when I need it, then you have to use Source Naturals rather than going without.

1stchineseherbs.com is a good place to get the knotweed and on Buhners list of places to shop for herbs.
There appears to be several kinds on their website. Which one is the right one to get?

Knotweed does aggravate me. But I'm curious if it KILLS or just aggravates. Stirring up for sake of stirring up is not fun

Why does Bart react badly to enzymes?
Serrapeptase does seem to flare it for me.

manybibtes,
I started Knotweed again yesterday (I take whole herb from 1stchineseherbs)
I only took about 300mg (roughly half a OO capsule) and by nighttime had a BIG frontal headache.
What could knotweed be doing to cause this?
It's a super strong antioxidant, right? Because my vision was clearer after taking it - but then hours later, bam, nasty front headache.

Not tasting metals. Just toxins.
I'm on Bactrim and plaquenil, that should address some Babs. I'm mostly Bart/Lyme/Myco though.

Ya, I understand. I'll talk to Doc.
Resistance doesn't happen by throwing in a day of high doses but then going back down?

this is interesting. Manybites are you saying to take all meds at once to get to brain?
Do the herbs actually kill anything or just bug the bugs so that they run around?

Canefan, perhaps you could submit a question about your reaction to SB on www.buhnerhealinglyme.com
I don't know what the current waiting time is, of course.

I understand Dr Sch used this method. But I'm still not understanding the exact method manybites.
So if one is taking Bactrim - 1 gram per day... you are saying ONCE A WEEK to take 2 grams that day. And then back down to 1 gram for other 6 days?
Repeat once a week?
