Hi <<<<< LymeFamily >>>>>,

Getting some odd symptoms, and trying to figure out what to try and treat next.

Have had to go off of ABX [sinus infection],to get some probiotics in my system and stop IBS diarrhea.

I have gotten some really odd 'Hot flashlike symptoms that can turn to chills just as quickly.

I'm achy, headachy, sinus issues still. and am having some 'mioclonus ? seizure like symptoms [haven't had this for awhile].

I still get the occasional really rapid heart beat pounding... wondering if the ABX woke up the Bart and suspected Babsiosis ,as well as the Lyme again.

It's really odd, being Hot flash-feverish/chills in August high heat. So I am thinking that the various ABX, have awoken something.

Blood smear from Dec. showed some odd, spidery clumps wondering around the blood cells, and some Lyme -Bb 'chetes [that's what the Naturo tho't]...sadly regular Dr.s here wont accept the blood smears.

And the Naturopaths are not allowed to DX' in Idaho...

Any tho'ts, ideas??? Id' sure appreciate any replies! Thanks from Silverwolfi

To me, many of your symptoms sound like Babs--hot flashes, chills, headache, achiness.

How long have you been off meds, and when will you go back on them?

It is really sad how difficult it is for most people to get proper treatment.

Silverwolf....... you sure it's IBS & not C. Diff?

I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Praying for you. [Smile]

Hey <<<<< Sammi, and DKat >>>>>,

I am suspicious that the Babs is acting up.

Praying I don't have C.Diff.,and that this just is an IBS flare as to diarrhea from the ABX. I'll be going to clinic again mid Sept.to talk w/PA, my BP and A1C have been up too.

The ND group I went to in Dec. ,I was disappointed w/ the head of it, claimed to be LL, but really didn't know even how to say the Lyme Disease. He kept saying "Lymes".

The assistant to the ND was great tho',He was pointing out many of the things in my blood smear.
The Assistant had been a surgeon for almost 40 years in California[and knows what LD is].

He retired and got his ND degree. He's 'just an assistant' tho' and Idaho Law ,and the lead ND wont be letting him do much. No sense paying the money to go back there.

I like my slide fee clinic PA,and when the weather is good and things not to smoky, the half hour drive isn't bad. So I am trying to collect some links that they might be willing to read on the LD and Co's!

Thanks for the tho'ts,info' and prayers!!!
I'm trying to tough this out!

silverwolf,

have you ever improved on antibiotics? Or do you constantly feel worse on them? Or a little better at first then you become very ill?

I ask because You've been around here a bit longer than I have, yet we have increasing symptoms while on abx over many years.

I know that you've mentioned that you've lived in some homes with mold issues- I'm telling you, mold can do horrible things to you-

antibiotics exacerbate symptoms of mold poisoning. Food for thought.

Hi <<<<< feelfit >>>>>,

TxCoord was noting the other day, when I am on an ABX,and have to go off[usually from some harsh symptoms, such as serious diarrhea, blinding headaches and occasionally 'seizure like symptoms]...

It is like starting to improve and then I get truly miserable sick.

And you are right,we got into some really bad mold situations... I didn't realize that ABX could worsen the mold poisoning symptoms. This may very well be a big part of the problem.

I can feel things worsening, and where we live now,we've had some bad leakage under our trailer home.

We've been praying for a way out of here, and a way to keep our two dogs. The husky mix is my 'headache' dog,she seems to know when I am having trouble. She's elderly now and ill herself.

The little guy, is a funny little mixed breed ,they both have skin issues. I wish we'd known more, a few years back, and could have licensed Sweety-girl as a therapy service type dog.

Thanks for the tho'ts and info', I guess I've been on maybe a year longer than you?! I don't feel like I've progressed very far... just trying to hold on.

Hey <<<<< CD57 >>>>>>,

I most likely have both Bart' and Babs' with the LD.

I was taking Z-pack,which makes me miserable, and isn't the greatest for sinus infections.

Now they have me on Cephalexin/Keflex to try and stop the sinus problem.

I have a sibling that gets Mycoplasmic Pneumoniae [sp?] at the drop of a hat as well, and am suspicious it might be a problem for me as well.

Gotta go offline for a bit, before my head ache drives me up the wall.

Thanks for the input! I appreciate all of Y'alls input a Lot!!!

Just me updating a bit:

Hi <<<<< LymeFamily >>>>>,

Still trying to get to feeling better, the Probiotics do seem to be helping, my guts are still a bit temperamental.

I'll be trying the ABX again next week, pulsing, t see if I have any more issue.

I had a bit of myoclonus[sp?] seizure like problem a couple times. If it happens again,I may not be able to the ABX? I'm hoping it doesn't act up again.

I'll update on this next week, once I see how things are working.

Hi <<<<< mlg >>>>>,

That is good info' to have!!! Thank You!!!

Right now I am using some other Probiotics, graciously provided for me [Smile] .

Our funding is severely limited, and I am hoping that this is not C.diff. One of our friends here in SE Idaho, told us of their experience w/ c.diff type problems some years ago. Absolutely awful.

I had heard of vsl3 but didn't know much about it. It's good to know Costco carries it !!!

Hoping for the best when I start back on the ABX early next week, and I'llbe keeping up with the probiotics.

I appreciate the reply ...
