I made it through three 500 mg pills of Allinia and stopped. It made me not be able to sleep, felt flu like, nausea, and bladder pain. I know it was Allinia because I have not been sick to my stomach for probably 2 years and my bladder pain has been excellent for 4 months. It only took two pills and my bladder was hurting again. By the third I was in a lot of bladder pain. Anyone else experience this. I know I am suppose to be tough, but this made me not function at all. Do I need a lesser dose?

I took Alinia for months and I never had any bladder pain. Perhaps it isnt a side effect from the med but a herx in your case? The only side effects I had with Alinia were nausea and some abdominal pain. A lesser dose might indeed be the solution. I hope you feel better soon. Jess.
