Have you tried treating him with antiparasitics? Sounds like it might be a very good idea.

Just start it very slow. You can open the capsules into some applesauce and let him take a little at a time through the day with meals. The same with salt/c.
Just give him a tiny dose like 1/8 tsp each salt and c in a glass of water and let him sip through the day.
Letting the infection get worse is just not a good idea. His getting anxiety when you give him antiparasitics is a clear indication he has parasites.
I do understand not wanting to see your son suffer and my heart goes out to you. Maybe some chamomile tea could help calm his anxiety.
