I was diagnosed with Lyme and Bart a year ago after going 5 years with dr's telling me it was in my head. I have an acne type rash over my face, chest, shoulders and back and I itch terrible to the point I bleed from scrathing. I just wanted to know if there is anyone who has had these same symptoms and what they have had success with as far as a treatment. The lyme and bart abx are not helping with it. I just started ivermectin today hoping that will help.

How long has the rash been going on??

I did a search here:

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi/ubb/search/search_forum/1

and came up with quite a few threads on itching .. there were so many, I didn't know which one to bring you!!

Are you on a good diet? No sugar, no white foods, no fruit? Good probiotics??

It could be yeast.

Can you take Benadyl?? It would work better for itching than Zyrtec.

Hi
Don't know if this is the same or not as my bumps sound a little less itchy than yours. Are they painful at all?
For me, they started in my armpits years ago and more recently on my back. There is a protocol I found that has worked for me. Because I'd spent years trying to find something that worked, I shared it here in this post in case someone else could use the info.

If it sounds familiar, I hope it can help. If you do give it a try, give it a couple of weeks to take effect.
