Have any of you experienced strange sensations of a thick fluid slowly moving in your head (meninges) in various locations or 'hot spots' while chelating heavy metals? If you had these sensations, did the chelating eventually help you to get better?
I was having some of this before starting cilantro and chlorella with babesia treatment, but now it seems to be happening more often.
Hopefully, the chelating and/or current treatment is getting rid of whatever has been in there causing my symptoms. I get scared sometimes, worrying that my illness is worsening with bacteria finding their way to new areas of the brain.

"Chelating" with cilantro and chlorella is not the best idea. Cilantro works well crossing the blood brain barrier, but toxic metals are in other body compartments besides the brain/central nervous system from where they should be removed first to avoid shifting metals into the brain.
Detoxing metals is difficult to do without energetic testing and/or the help of a knowledgable practitioner/doctor. Metals create many strange sensations --- do not misinterpret symptoms -- not even the best doctors can do it and admit it.
All the best.

Thanks Gigi. I will look at the sites you referenced. I am taking the cilantro and chlorella under my LLNP's guidance. She seems very knowledgeable about this.
I was muscle tested last summer by a kinesiologist who has been treating lyme patients for years and very well respected among MA lyme patients. She said that I did not test positive for heavy metals. But when I took the urine challenge test, it showed high arsenic and slightly high mercury.

dbpei, don't misunderstand me, please. Cilantro is a good agent, but at the right time and in the right combination only. And at times, more is not better.
Muscle testing/kinesiology, if done correctly, only gives the answers for the present time; it does not tell the future. Metals, even if present, infections, etc. do not test positive all the time, even if they are present.
Sorry, if I did not express myself clearly. Glad you have a lab test to give you some idea. We don't know how much there is and often also don't know where it is until we get better testing methods.
Take good care.

Thanks again, Gigi. This whole disease is a mystery as are the systemic illnesses that go along with lyme.
My LLNP is using the Dr. K protocol (gave me printed out version to read), but it is not exactly as he recommends. I am going to ask her about her reasons for pacing differently at my next visit.
