I don't think New York can test for this pathogen. It has something to do with New York state laws. For that reason, I don't think Dr. H. treats Protomyxoa Rheumatica.

NY state has the most ridiculous laws about labs. They will NOT approve out of state labs for tests that NY state can't provide. They will string the poor labs along for years and hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to get approval, however. Occasionally a lab is successful in getting approval, but rarely.
