I too am traveling and was looking for another probiotic to try. A drug rep at my LLMD's left some samples of Florajen at the office they were refrigerated, however the package says they will remain effective up to 2 weeks without refrigeration so that is what I am going to try. I am also on VSL at night, and RAW women's probiotics during the day. www.florajen.com check it out. I only used the samples over a weekend trip, but this next trip is a week..hope it works as I am recovering from another yeast infection!

How about Dr. Ohhira's Probiotics? I've seen them at Whole Foods and other health food stores. Their FAQ page says these probiotics do not need to be refrigerated, just kept at room temperature.

I've been bringing mine in a cooler. When I get to my destination, in the fridge. It's a hassle for sure.

I will check out florajen, custom probiotics and Dr. Ohira's.
Anyone else have any experience with these or any other non refrigerated probiotic?

Dr Ohira's is OK for travel but not very potent at all.

I have consistently used Sedona Labs IFlora professional strength.
They're potent, not needing refrigeration...more importantly, they've been great at holding the yeast at-bay, despite the high dose antibiotics I'm on.
They're not cheap, but they are effective.
