I know Buhner now says sita acuta works better, but I think Dr. H still uses crypto.

I tried Sida Acuta and not much in the way of a herx.
I just started Crypto at 5 drops and felt a bit weird, but nothing major. I then tried a 2nd dose of 10 drops and felt less weird but more toxic by the end of the day. I now have a slight pain on the back side, where kidneys are.
Sida Acuta is for both & crypto for Babs.

I am taking sida acuta . I could only tolerate 3-4 drops for a few months , but now I can haddle 12 -15 . I definitely get a herx reaction (!) but have only been on it a few months and can not say I am improved .
I sometimes wonder if ANYTHING ever really does the job ! I wish I could read that some herb or treatment really resulted in wellness for someone. I seem to herx and herx and never get close to well . I am not convinced we really even know what we are treating .

I am with you on that one!
We are left in the dark, on our own, & without much guidance. We need testing on various product desperately since at this point it is all trial and error.

Yes, I also seem to herx and herx and never get close to well.
It would be so much easier to give up, but we all have to keep fighting and praying for a cure.

I'm so in agreement. Nothing ever seems to help. We change the meds around. Nothing. Gets old

I think Babs is probably one of the most stubborn of all our infections. My recent approach has been to address all parasites in a broad-spectrum way (first I did several rounds of different meds, now I'm doing herbs and salt/c). I'm 'seeing' results daily. Early on, my symptoms went way down. Currently they are fluctuating up and down. But I am still MUCH BETTER than before I started 4+ months ago attacking these parasites.
My current thinking is that we cannot get rid of babs unless we get all of its bosom buddies.
Plus we cannot forget all of the different layers as GiGi has pointed out repeatedly using the Babushka principle. We've got to deal with the metals, yeast, viruses, bacteria, etc. as the parasites die off.
Good luck, friends. This is not an easy road.

In a previous post did someone say our body holds onto heavy metals because of parasites? or the other way around?
