Anything near the eyes concerns me. And I really need help for relief. It itches like crazy! I am trying not to touch it.
It started like a little clear pimple on my right eyelid. I tried to pop it but it wouldn't pop. Initially it just left a tiny clear looking skin tag (like a little tiny bubble). After a few days there was itching. Now there's puffing and itching on the eyelid with some very minor flaking.
This afternoon and tonight it's puffing up a lot. I'm also feeling a little itching on the lower lid as well.
Someone suggested a little grapefruit seed extract. I dipped a Q-tip in water then dapped a tiny bit of GSE on my lid. Now its puffier.
Any suggestions on what to do, what not to do?
What type of doctor do I see for this? (I trust very few....ugh).
Thanks, Tammy

This sounds like shingles. It's common for our opportunistic infections to flare during treatment.
You may want to take an antiviral.
Untreated shingles can take a long time to heal, and cause nerve damage. Any good doc should be able to recognize and treat shingles.
Will your LLMD prescribe over the phone? Many Lyme patients get shingles.

I would be scared.
Shingles can present differently on different people. The itchy, blister, crust is pretty standard.
Eyelid is one thing. You don't want shingles in your eye.
It could have to do with the LDN. I would seriously call your LLMD. Shingles is not to be messed with. Don't talk yourself out of this! You need this ruled in or out.

Tammy,
YOUR MAILBOX IS FULL. Just tried to send you a pm. Since you are infected with parasites, I suspect that is what's trying to exit, especially if you are on salt/c. I had small ones exit, my tear ducts, chin, face, lips, nose and mouth.
Try warm water compresses and maybe some Super L-Lysine ointment. Don't get GSE in your eye. Try not to panic.
Remember you are taking antiparasitics and especially salt/c, will make them come out. Parasites start exiting first as a pimple. You are purging, the infections, so it is a good thing.

P. S.
I also agree that it would be good to have it checked out by your doctor.

Tammy, I had something similar happen to me a few months ago. I had this little tiny pimple looking thing pop up above my eye (between brow and eye). At first I thought something bit me there, as it was sore to the touch. It looked like a tiny pimple. I tried to get it out and thought I got a little bit of it.
Then shortly after that (the next day or two) it started to itch like crazy, especially at night. I tried not to itch it for fear I'd make it worse. Shortly after that it started to crack, then it opened up a tiny bit, and began to weep a little.
I put calendula cream on it to help with the itch. It turned out to be yeast. I took every yeast killing herb I could find to kill it and eventually did. If this is what you have, make sure you don't eat any starch or fruit as it made mine worse.

Shingles is what came to my mind also. Maybe try taking Olive leaf extract for viruses and yeast.
what about a stye?

I am not giving a diagnosis and think you should see your doctor but i have had these before and it kind of sounds like it.

If you have shingles, you have to begin taking the antivirals within 48 hours, or they won't be effective.
It will not clear up the existing shingles; they have to run their course, but will help prevent anything new from popping up.
I think the rash usually starts out itchy, then becomes painful later on.
Since it is on your eye, you might want to get it checked asap.
Good luck.

I forgot to mention that my eyelid puffed up too. lower lid and especially corners of eye itched too. Maybe it was weeping there.

Just remembered - during my first major parasite treating phase, my opportunistics went wild. I think the worms were harboring all the microbes, and worm death led to liberated pathogens.
I got bronchitis, yeast, everything. I swore I would remain on my abx and antifungals for the next big parasite purge.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I think it has to do with the parasites exiting and the opportunistics trying to taking their chance.
