I am having a tough time.

I have been on Bicillin-LA for just over two months. 2ml 2x/week.

Added about a month ago Doxy. Very low dose ie 100 mg/day. Probably a worthless dose. But I have taken lower doses for dry eyes. I also had read that LD Doxy was anti-inflammatory.

I think I feel worse on the B-LA/LD Doxy combo.

I am certainly in more pain - joints and tendons.

I had hoped to see some improvement with the B-LA but I haven't.

I have Rx on file for Bactrim DS. Not filled. Doctor prescribed it before I asked to try B-LA.

I don't think I have read where folks do B-LA and Bactrim DS together. Is that a no-no combo?

I will call the doctor's office. Who knows when I will hear back.

What is Bactrim DS effective against?
Lyme, Bart, Babs?? Cpn? MycoPn?

When/how does one know to give up on B-LA?

Tks.

I'm on Bicillin LA, Septra (same as Bactrim DS) and Zith.

I'm on Septra for Bart.
