I have been treated for chronic lyme since 7/11. Had also been diagnosed with Hashimoto Thyroid disease maybe 5 yrs ago. Had been taking synthroid, but lyme MD had me taking Naturethroid ( 1 gr- I am very small 96 lbs) and Byron WHite A-l drops and coffee enemas. I did have a lumpectomy with mammosite radiation ( inserted thu catheter into surgery site only) in 2009.

Since Dec of '11, have experience 3 rib fractures -The last two, without any appreciable trauma, on the same side as cancer on side and under breast. I have been taking naturethroid and have read the following as possible side effects- all of which I have ( broken and weakened bones, shakiness and muscle weakness, higher blood pressure, heart palpitations and rapid heart rate, hyperactivity, nervousness, anxiety, increased appetite with weight loss.

Also last night experience what felt like a foot cramp, also left side, which only got worse and never abated. I literally could not walk on it. I resorted to using a lidoderm patch had in house. I was able to sleep and this AM can walk and is feeling almost normal, though just removed the patch.

Can these be related to the lyme, the naturethroid. I am very concerned and scared. Son getting married in 2 weeks and hoping can walk down the aisle. Feel like I am falling apart. Any advise, experience of same.

Smerril, I'm sure I sound like a broken record, if you are old enough to remember records, but I have

a problem with iron. If you have parasites like bartonella or babesia, they use iron and do not

like to share. Iron binds oxygen in the red cell andtakes oxygen to the rest of your body. Check

your iron levels and you may need to treat for these parasites.

AS to your bone breakage, are you absorbing calcium normally from your gut? If you have any

inflammation in your intestines, you won't be able to absorb calcium or iron for that matter.

Have they done any aspiration biopsy from your ribs to see if the cells are normal? Who did your

lumpectomy? I would call them.
