I will be seeing my LLMD in a couple of weeks.

I took Rifampin 6 months and then babs flared back up. So, LLMD switched Rifampin to Levaquin so I could take Malarone...6 weeks ago.

I am currently on Malarone, doxy, Levaquin, and pulsing Tidamax.

I have not had any negative side effects from Levaquin, but it is one scary drug. I would like to get off that and take something else to treat bart. I did take Bactrim DS for 18 months, but that did not get rid of it. Any ideas what I could ask for?

I have a similar problem. I took Levaquin >a year ago
(did magnesium, Epsom salt baths, vitamin c) to

help ward off tendon side effects. Did okay, went on to work on mold, Lyme, cysts, parasites,

Bartonella came full front again. I don't want to take Levaquin and family this time- I started exercising- I tried to start levaquin again,

my intuition says no. I'm on rifampin, Bicillin, Alinia- strange odd combo, I know- can't do Azithromycin, may get off Bicillin and switch to minocycline,

but I worry that
A.) maybe I've made rifampin resistant
B.) not enough to get Bartonella

I have some HH Nutrimedix here, Japanese knotwood, A-Bart
thinking after Alinia is done,

start hitting with all the Bart herbs.
