Is one of the symptoms of Bartonella seizure-like activity?
My nephew has been having what looks like seizures. His chiro/cranial doctor sent him for tests and they all came back clear - no seizure activity.
He was jerking a twitching during the tests and they were sure its seizures.........

- Tests for seizures do not always even register, even if a seizure occurs during testing.
And even if it did, it would not likely identify the cause, especially when neuro-toxicity or nutrient deficiency caused (as with lyme, other tick borne infections and heavy metal toxicity).
A QEEG is also far better than a regular EEG for many with lyme. But, still, it may not "show" and I really don't think a test is necessary unless his LLMD thinks so.
Bottom line: he should talk to his LLMD. Most other doctors just don't have a clue about the kind of seizures from TBD. Even neurologists are so in the dark about seizures and TBD.
The tests are just not able to capture all the detail, especially with MYOCLONIC seizures as these sound like.
First suspect: MAGNESIUM deficient.
Second: be sure he's not taking glutamine in his supplements.
Third: Food additives, especially aspartame.
Detail about those and much more in the link below.
If his chiropractor is doing quick, sudden twists of his neck that could be very damaging for someone with lyme. A gentle approach such as with Upledger technique is best.
Detail I've gathered in my own search to ease seizures:
