I feel they've been very helpful. They haven't gotten me over the hump, nor has anything, at this point. I take many things, this is just part of what I have een doing. I use pendulum to determine dose as well as how useful/important things are. I have just started on hydrocortisone for adrenals, thinking I have enough killers going on in me, and maybe just need the energy to execute it.

Typical dose for me has been 15 of each, twice a day. It does vary, down to 10 or even 7, and easily up to 20 or 25 for a given dose, would not be way atypical. Once after a biomagnetic treatment designed to free infections froma magnetic disturbance holding them in one spot, I tested for and took 120 of the A-L, and in the 40's of the A-BAB and A-BART. That was a one-time event, with no ill effects, but not likely to be repeated.

My son was taking Abart 20 drops twice a day while taking Mepron/zith. We thought it was helping since his bart streaks were starting to fade, but, we realized it was actually the zithromax that was making the difference. Once the mepron/zith was discontinued, he remained on Abart alone, and his bart streaks increased dramatically in only one month.

He is now on rifampin/zithromax, and we stopped the Abart, since it was a waste of money, in my opinion.

I have been taking AL Complex for about 2 months. I started on just 1 drop twice a day and was told that this can even cause some to herx.

I have been at 10 drops for about a week now because I hurt my shoulder and did not want to have anything else to deal with...

My LLNP says to increase by only 1 drop at a time every 3 - 5 days. If your herxing becomes too difficult, your dosage is too high and you must reduce.

I am also taking mepron, biaxin and omnicef. I have noticed some burning pain in my abdomen again after resuming mepron (stopped taking for a few days at LLNP's suggestiong while adding licorice tabs, aloe vera juice to soothe GI system.)

But when I looked at the ingredients in the AL complex, I noticed that there is an herb that can be very toxic to liver and kidney (wormweed - antiparasitic). I hope this isn't my problem.

I am having blood work tomorrow - so hopefully all will be okay. So far, I think the BW herbs have been a good thing for me. My immune system seems stronger.

I don't know how well they work with abx, but for me, by themselves, they're great. I'm currently on A-bart, A-L and A-P. I've tried others that have helped me, but my symptoms require these three at the moment.

We are all different so some work better for others, and some don't. The same thing with how many drops of each formula. You really can't compare what one person takes vs. another. It's individualized to you and your issues alone.

Dbpei, the wormweed in A-L is so minimal, I don't think it's an issue. It's really the abx that you have to worry about with your kidneys and liver. But the combo, only your LLMD can tell you for sure.

Putnam, Dbpei is a good example of how you can't really measure what one person takes vs. another. Dbpei is on 10 drops of A-L after two months. It's taken me six months to get to 10 drops of A-L. And look at what AMK said about A-Bart. I'm at 14 drops and my bart symptoms are gone. Everyone is different.

Good to know re: the wormweed, Catgirl. Yes - I agree how differently everyone responds to herbs as well as ABX. Goes to show you how complex this illness is.
