MITOCHONDRIAL SUPPORT and CIRCULATION also areas to consider. CoQ10. Hawthorn & Gotu Kola.
Also be sure that any Rx you might be taking does not have a dampening effect. Sleep and mood drugs can. -

Maca root and tribulus are the well known ones for this. They will only take one so far without addressing adrenals though, whether it can be done with herbs such as rhodiola and the like, or if hydrocortisone is needed.

Colloidal silver made a huge difference in libido for me..

Cordyceps is known for stimulating the libido...especially in men. That is actually what it has been used for in traditional chinese medicine for a long time.
The good thing is that it is also good for lyme patients. It is even recommended in Burrascano's lyme treatment guidelines as a good supplement although he suggests it for a different purpose. Here is what it says in his guidelines...
"Cordyceps is a well-known herb from Tibet that has been shown in clinical studies to improve stamina, fatigue, and enhance lung and antioxidant function. It also raises superoxide dismutase levels, important to prevent lesions in the central nervous system, which is why this (along with green tea) is essential if neurodegeneration is part of your illness. The positive effects can be dramatic; should be used long term. USP- certified cordyceps is available from Pharmanex as "CordyMax"."
I have read lots of good things about cordyceps for health so it seems like this could be a good option for you.
Take Care! Pam

I don't know if I want to take a fungus that grows on caterpillars... There's a bit of a "yuck" factor. It does seem to be an interesting substance.

- sparkle,
It is no longer obtained that way. They now grow it as a "medical mushroom" under very controlled circumstances.
canefan,
New Chapter is an excellent brand. -

Ha. I had complete loss before starting treatment for an entire month. Those medical idiots game me Diamox, which sent me into a hellish downward spiral & is known to cause this. Even the doc mentioned to my wife that this was possible.
Mr. Winky was completey dead, but I was kind of relieved. Most of the time in the past my appetive was ravenous and it was good to catch a break. Now mine goes up & down, almost as normally as before. On a day that I feel worst, then I am not as interested & on other days regardless I am shocked for the desire.
Funny, that I have low testosterone too & yet still a big enough appetite than your average Joe.
