This is a new one for me... but I noticed today that my gums (under 3 teeth in back right) are bleeding/peeled/receding.
Ugh. Any ideas for how to support the gums - besides the obvious floss and brushing of teeth.

Yes! Oilpulling!
If interested, go to oilpulling.com. It is an amazing therapy with lots of benefits.
I like to use coconut oil because of all of its "anti" properties.
The basics: Do it on an empty stomach (I brush my teeth first). Do it for about 20 minutes (do not swallow!). After spitting out, rinse with warm salt water

Do you have gum pockets? When I had that problem, before lyme, I figured out that the dental bacteria in gum pockets form a barrier that prevents dental products from getting to them. I had some pockets that were deep enough to prevent me from getting to them and bursting their barrier using a gum stimulator.
I ended up using a cannula tip which could reach deep pockets. It worked well enough but I had to keep at it. After several years of antibiotics for lyme, the pockets disappeared, much to the surprise of the dental hygienist.

Has anyone had gum regrowth? My gums have receded a large amount. Just wondering if there is any chance of regrowth. I have read that it isn't possible but then I have also read that it is...so not sure what is accurate.
