I was taking mag malate as directed by my LLMD. Then I developed Levaquin induced Achilles tendonitis. I did a little online research and found recommendations to take chelated mag along with vitamin C and fish oil.
I improved to about 95% at about two months. I finished my bottle of chelated mag just two days ago so I started the mag malate. Wouldn't you know it, this AM I had right Achilles pain which I haven't had like this in a while.
Could the form of mag intake make a difference? I was taking chelated mag 1,000 mg. a day, then went on mag malate 1,250 mg.
I did go out and today and purchased the chelated mag and restarted.
