I'm trying to determine which infection is predominant right now. Last April I took a couple of months of mepron along with a few weeks of biaxin. When I added the biaxin to the mepron, I had a significant herx and the bad headaches have not returned since then. Also the extreme brain fog has not returned. I am hoping that got rid of the babesia.

Now I have pressure and vibrational symptoms in the head and they rotate about different areas in the head. My biggest symptom is now fatigue.

What do you think is the predominant problem or any of the problem? I'm getting tired of paying the doctor bills and I have mepron and rifampin in the basement. I had to stop mepron last spring as I was getting too sick.

Is that all of your symptoms; fatigue and the head pressure? Both babesia and protomyxzoa cause these symptoms. Do you sleep a lot? Than, maybe babesia. Insomnia, then maybe protomyxzoa.
A couple of months of mepron would not be enough to wipe out babesia.

I'm 4+ years into treatment and am doing fairly well considering where I have been with this stuff. I do not anymore sleep much longer than normal, nor do I have insomnia anymore except occasionally.

I was on mepron for 5-6 months in 2010 and a couple of months more recently.

I have bumps on my scalp that come and go.

I'd like to put the last nail in the lyme coffin.

Protomyxzoa can cause scalp sores. I don't know about the bumps. I had little white lumps on my face that went away with treatment.

It wouldn't hurt to hammer away at the PR nail, just in case. You can do the low fat whole foods vegan diet to see if it helps. It is healthy. You get fat in a lot of foods but you want to avoid oil, meats, cheese, eggs, nuts, seeds and avocado - foods high in fat. Try to limit your fat intact to 15 grams a day.

I was greatly helped by the diet and stromectol/ivermectin. In fact, it just about cured me until I developed an intolerance to the stromectol. I only take it about once a week now but I am still doing ok.

Try Low Dose Naltrexone to boost your immune system. Start really low (0.5 mg) and work your way up to 3 or 4 mg. It does wonders.

I would suspect babesia. I finished mine off with Zith and artemisinin.

Babesia was the major cause of my crushing fatigue.
