I've noticed some contra-indications for supplements recently for gallbladder issues:
curcumin
ginger
dandelion root

Question:
What are signs of gallbladder problems?
I really like all three of these, but I don't want to create havoc elsewhere. What kind of tests could I do to check gallbladder function?

I no longer have a GB but I think even then you may want to keep a watch on things. I take ginger and curcumin.

I have right flank pain off and on and I'm not sure there is a definite connection to the supplements.

(I've had pain there before and after GB surgery 7 yrs ago.)

Taking antibiotics long term is WAY MORE likely to cause GB problems than the above supplements. WAY.

There IS a blood test to keep a check on it. Just ask your Dr to run it. (he/she will know which one)

Unless you have pain in the GB area or begin having trouble digesting fats, I would not worry about it.
