I tried this when I first started treating. It is hard to say if it helped or not (like most stuff we do). It felt good! And maybe gave me more energy. It took a really long time for me to work up a sweat... So not sure about using it to detox... But I do believe the heat went deeper than normal heated pad. But for sweating, I think there are better options. But it may have helped me throughmy worst herxes.
The high heat actually made the pain in my feet worse. (i understand that this is unusual) And it sat there unused a lot of the time. So I ended up selling it back to the distributor. If you are looking for an incredibly honest, reliable source...pm me. I believe there is a 60 day money back trial. So you really have very little to lose. Just shipping.

Yes, we've had discussions about it here - you can use the search function at the top of the screen to read the archived threads -
I used it for 6 months and got over chemical sensitivity re smells. It's a FIR product, so we can sweat out toxins. There are lots of FIR options - I'm using a portable FIR tent now. I find it a lot faster re sweating, since I'm enclosed in it, vs lying on the mat.
The mat also has some amethyst in it, not sure about other things - which produce negative ions - it was too strong for me at first - I had to keep it rolled up till I could handle that output. Everyone's different - some find that output very relaxing and reporting sleeping better.

Yes. I bought the mini in April. I have low blood temp and constant chills and possible babs. My body temp came up and I have had far fewer days where I experience chills. I wish I could afford the full size bio mat. It also helps with aches and pains
I think though if you are looking to sweat and detox a sauna might work better. I love my bio mat.

For those looking to sweat more with the biomat I did read an instruction sheet that said you should cover yourself with a blanket when you lay on the mat. So that may help with the sweating and detoxing.
