Anyone ever have moments where just for a split second they feel out of it and disconnected and dissociated and their surroundings seem foreign but it only lasts for a split second.

What is this and what infection causes it?

deja vu moments, yes, quite often, very weird.

Not sure which infection, but I am treating lyme and bart, so maybe one of those.

Is this deja vu or derealization? They are different...to me at least...

Deja vu is the sensation that you've experienced something before, even though you have no memory of doing so.

Derealization is the sensation that you are somehow disconnected with your surroundings or with what is going on at the moment.

I have had both.

Your experience sounds like disassociation. But if it is deja vu, I have read that this is one of the symptoms of babs.

Is it normal to feel really crappy when you first start babs treatment again?

Maya--my LLMD thinks Babs is back, or it's a new infection. I was at the beach this year, right after some rainy days. Many mosquito bites, one which turned into a boil, very odd.

I now get night sweats, day sweats and very odd heel pain. Sitting here I have a frontal headache, which I get every 4 days.

It's deju vu for me, haven't had disassociation, but I can say that I used to have some of that years ago, not fun.

I just hate how babs makes me feel so lost and detached from reality and real life

I have felt like crap since I started babs treamtne 4 months ago. I felt REALLY bad for a week after I started. Super flu-like sick. BAD.
I am about to transition off babs meds to treat bart for a while. Will take another FISH test. Hoping it's clear. I know 4.5 months isn't a long time on Babs treatment, but if it's Microti then it's possible to kill it -- that's what the IGENIX doc said at least.
