If you started having more pain as you started it.

Some people said they had this with Ketek and others ,worked through it and it ended up being good.

This was not isolated pain ,so I didn't think Lev was issue.

Dr.say's stop for now..that only leaves 3 drugs.
mepron Clamidamyacin and Bicillin. Is that enough?

Nonna, I don't know the whole story. Are you taking it for Lyme? If so, I personally would stick with the Levaquin. Generalized whole body pain could be more of a herx.

If you experience specific tendon pain in your ankle, knee, or shoulder then I would stop it for now and talk with your doctor. Levaquin can very rarely cause tendon rupture. That's why you take Mag to prevent it.

If you are needing Lev temporarily for an acute infection, cysts in your knees, and you already feel so crummy then that clouds things. Are you dealing with side effect or a herx like effect?

My doc says that levaquin does also target Lyme. So maybe you are feeling some of a herx?

Can you possibly talk with your Lyme doc? Of is that your PCP also?

Hang in there friend. I know you just want to feel better. Me too!

If you want to find out about Levaquin just type in "floxed" into google. There are thousands
of lawsuits against the manufacturer, and many many horror stories from people who have had adverse reactions. Tendon problems are only one of many possible side effects. Go to youtube and
you'll find a number of personal accounts of adverse reactions to fluoroquinolones. It's really really irresponsible for people to calmly advise you to continue taking levaquin when you
may be having an adverse reaction. Do some research, there's a ton of info out there on just how awful these antibiotics can be.
