What do you think that could be from?

I say "sensation" b/c her pulse-ox was nml in the ER. And pulmonologist and ENT said everything was "normal" - of course.

Appreciate any/all thoughts and input. Thanks in advance!

I had SEVERE rush me to the hospital asthma and ver bad air hunger for years. Went away completely with parasite treatments. As GiGi has stated, 80% of Dr. K's patients with lyme have lung worms.

Thx Gael. This child was never tx'ed for parasites. What do you think should be the first thing to do? I am a bit scared of the salt/C and would rather try a supp first.

I think you have to try and determine the different reasons for the sensation of not being able to breathe. If she is not wheezing then its not asthma. I seem to go through different breathing difficulties. I have asthma but I also have a separate breathing problem. I go through spells where I have to think to breathe when standing or moving around. When I sit i can breathe with the diaphram but when I stand I breathe with my chest and shoulders and can't get deep breaths. I have recently been checking out hiatal hernias, Dr. Baroody...etc. I also hae fast heart rate when standing and was diagnosed with POTS at one point. The hernia ...if I have one.... affects the vagus nerve and anything that is run or controlled by the vagus nerve. It could be an answer to alot of problems. Anyone else have experience with hernias? I think I will make a separate topic out of this subject.

It could be babesia. "Air hunger" is a very common symptom.

Have you checked her iron status? It is my understanding that at least in part the reason for air hunger with babesia and possibily other parasites is due to iron deficiency anemia.

Gael, yes she has Lyme and was treated for years. Now IMO she either needs to be retreated for Babs or txed for parasites. She is in her 20s so I guess I shouldnt be referring to her as a child, but you know.

Daystar, DD also has asthma but this is a different sensation. She was dxed with POTS before Lyme and had been txed for that for years. Interesting info re: hiatal hernias and this Dr. Baroody. I will have to look into that.

WPinVA, yes, I thought of the Babesia too. I am wondering if she should re-treat for that. LLMD appt is at the end of the month. Hoping for clarity.

Bea, Her iron has always been good, despite very heavy periods. Thanks for chiming in. Its so good to hear from you. Think of you all the time.

Low adrenal function can also cause the air hunger/breathlessness. Mine has improved noticeably after bioenergy treatments, which included the healer focussing some energy on the adrenals.
