Nearly a year of symptoms for me, and I still get a bromide acne bump here and there even now, 20 months after starting....

I currently take 100mg Iodoral daily.

a year huh? i would be happier with the acne not that its a treat or anything...i was having some wicked dark thoughts.

thankfully and amazingly the salt straightened it right out.

If I remember right, my husband increased the Iodoral slower then recommended so he could handle the herxing better.

He also was to take another supplement to help with the herxing... but I've forgotten what it was.

He did the bromide detox several years ago, before we knew he had Lyme.

Do you know where you got the bromide? The doc figured my husband got it from the Celexa he had been on.

i'm guessing its from years of eating bread...haven't had any bread in 3 months but i did have it for 49 years before that.

not doing the iodine so much for a bromide detox but more for the antiparasitic and antibacterial and to support my slighlty slow thyroid.
