I always read about people having terrible GI symptoms on ABX but I have never gotten any. I'm not complaining, but is that normal? There are times when I've been on MANY abx at a time in really high doses and I'm not on any heavy duty probiotics (just 15 billion from Swanson).
I also don't get any GI symptoms when I take huge doses of magnesium. I kept building it to reach GI tolerance, but that never happened. I can take 2000mg per dose (once in the evening) without any issues. I haven't tried going over that because I don't want to overdose.

Consider yourself lucky and be glad that you don't. It gives me hope I can get some day too.

My digestion turned into a train wreck from abx (Biaxin in particular).
For years I have a had a big appetite. Rarely had I ever felt nauseous when presented with food.
Now I often have to make myself eat, or wait for a little window of hunger to appear. Blah!
