Thank you for reporting about them. Yeah, she'll probably move this to General.

ive been trying to catch up on bills b4 we get ice that might turn off the power. i have been off-line since the 23rd i think.

computer was running very slow for some sites. some were fine. maybe it is weather related? i dont know.

LN seems fine and i saw the post tutu left before they started their journey. earlier she called and told me roads were icey and they missed a turn in dallas and ended up lost in downtown-very slick-but did get out and made it to houston.

im pretty sure that is what she said...that they did get where they were going and were safe but the trip was awful(not her words...hers were worse)

i hope i dont have the cities mixed up - she told me to let you all know she was ok and she would try to get on later...

does anyone know-was houston her destination?

i started this thread almost 3 hrs ago thinking for sure she would get back here before me...but maybe she had to go to hospital first...

thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband tutu.

ok-i just re-listened to her message. they got where they were going last night at 9pm. there were problems in dallas cuz the highway was closed and they were diverted thru downtown...im not sure where they were supposed to end up but she said they got there and she would try to get online tonight...but considering the illness maybe she won't.

if i dont come back its cuz we lost power...nothing yet but i am right on the snow/ice line. and big staight line winds off the ocean i guess too.

Thanks for the info! Prayers for TuTu and her husband!

Man Ipkayak - sure hope you don't lose power with an ice storm! Fingers crossed!

Snowed 3" in 2 hours here this afternoon! Then turned to rain and high gusts all night. Finally starting to settle down now.

so far so good with power...tv says 7 " here but i am shoveling and it aint no 7"

took me 2 hrs of stop and go to get the garbage out to the road...then another hour to open up propane tank and clear vents...and there is a roof over it!!!

new house...im learning where the drifts will be

wish we had heard from tutu...but she did say they got there. afraid they must be dealing with sad stuff.

i texted my son in nj cuz he is so busy i hate to bother him and i had heard they might be taking a week away somewhere warm...but his answer to "r u in nj" was a yes. i think they may have been grounded...and they both work so hard.. i hope they get a break...but we have to finish this with winds and ice and then more on sat/sun

tutu!!! we're waiting for you!!!
