Hi everyone..I just got back after spending about 6 hrs in the ER. I started to have some bleeding and I felt ill/crampy a bit , and I suspected I was miscarrying, and sure enough I did indeed miscarry. I was barely 5 weeks along.
It was a complete miscarriage (ultrasound confirmed) so no need for a D & C. ER dr said it was most likely due to my low weight-it makes it too difficult to sustain a pregnancy. He said our bodies are very intuitive and intelligent and when they feel a pregnancy is too dangerous for the child and the mother, nature takes over and you miscarry.
I am stil bleeding a bit, but not much at all, just some spotting. I am exhausted but I feel ok otherwise, physically and emotionally. My fiance and best friend were with me at the ER and I felt fully supported and loved. I expected miscarriage was a possibility but this was really fast.
I posted this just to give an update. Now I am gonna go lie down and infuse my Rocephin. Its been a long day. Jess.

Aww Jess, I am sorry things have been so stressful! I believe everything happens for a reason, whether we know what that reason is at the time is a different story. I hope you can get some rest find peace. Hugs!

Thank you lax mom. Will do. I plan on being lazy and resting A LOT in the next week or so at least.
I am spending new years eve in my pajamas, reading a book. That is my idea of heaven right now. Thank you sincerely for your support. xo Jess.

Thanks everyone. I am resting and reading tons of books and trying to eat a lot to keep my weight up. I am also watching really shameful reality TV but I am trying to justify it by telling myself it is healing haha. Thanks again. I appreciate all of the kindness. Jess.

I'm so sorry. I've known people who have had miscarriages and they said depression follows for a bit.
Don't give up hope. There will be other chances.
God bless.
