Surprisingly i got positive yersinia results today (igg and iga). before i was only igg positive.
not sure what this means and my llmd doesnt seem to be sure either. she said its not really known if its a bug many people just have or if its dangerous. but then why did she test it?
the lab sheet doesnt say which yersinia species was tested (there are several).
i have mostly neuro symptoms, fatigue and gastro stuff. dr. google says yersinia often causes joint problems which i dont have - flulike stuff and gastro stuff (maybe...)
i actually do have some flu-thing at the moment (with vomiting), but didnt have it when it was tested for yersinia (3 weeks ago).
i think my stool was tested several times negativ for yersinia.
any ideas?

Yersinia pestis is the plague. I doubt people naturally have yersinia.
Yersinia pestis was one of the possible differentials for my husband...but he ended up having Tularemia.
Why do they keep testing you for yersinia? That's very strange.
