I am fed up and really don't know what to eat anymore. I am always hungry and losing weight.
These past few days I have eaten bread everyday and one source of sugar each day such as activia yogurt or peach cup.
Today I feel sick - overall weakness, my arms and legs feel heavy, my chest feels tight, really down emotionally, my head feels heavy like I want to sleep.
Do you think bread, yogurt and peaches could cause this?

Maybe, maybe not. It really depends on the person and the balance of your G.I. bacteria. Hubby did not eat gluten but he did eat fruit and some desserts -- couldn't totally give up M&M's.
It takes much more work to keep the G.I. in balance if you eat sweets and too many carbs. But it can be done.
You could also have blood sugar issues instead of or in addition to candida issues. Hypoglycemia will make you sleepy and could make you sweaty after a meal that causes blood sugar spikes.
Personally I think sll things in moderation unless you really are allergic or intolerant of the food is the best diet.
I would take an extra dose of good bacteria and maybe some goldenseal or olive leaf extract to get things back in balance. But don't be too hard on yourself if you cheat on the diet from time to time.

Thank you Bea. It's just that I get confused and frustrated, because feeling good or bad is so unpredictable. I am trying to connect the feeling bad to either a herx, disease progression or diet and I don't know which it is.
Like everyone else here I just want to feel good. And today I am feeling really down and like I am getting nowhere. But that's just a feeling - faith says keeping marching forward and don't give up.
I just want to understand why I feel the way I do.

Well, the wanting to sleep sounds like yeast to me. I completely understand though. I am sick of starving and losing weight. I am allergic to so many things, it's not funny. Every few weeks I break down and have some pizza. I just have it the one day, then go back to my regular gluten free, and everything else I can't eat free diet. It satiates me and keeps me from losing more weight.
My doc has told me that I will have to be on herbs the rest of my life. In other words, at least in my case, it's not curable once chronic. He said that we want to get the body to the point where it can handle/fight on its own. Yet, some people who do abx and other alternatives seem to be cured.
So, if for whatever reasons it's not curable for me, of course I'm not going to live my whole life gluten free. I'm going to cheat now and then. I think it's okay to partake in some tolerable favorites as long as you don't do it every day. Check in with your body and see how you feel. It sounds like you ate that diet for a few days. Maybe just cut it back and try one day next time.
Bea is right, some extra probiotics and yeast fighting herbs will help. So will keeping a food journal (that way you will see a pattern of what bothers you, and/or if the reactions are similar to your herxes). Try not to beat yourself up and stay positive.
