Has anyone taken Invanz? I know these kinds of questions get old and annoying but here I am asking one for myself!!!

Does Invanz treat Bartonella along with Lyme? It was prescribed for Lyme but I seem to be having an increase in Bart symptoms since I've started it.

I can't quite figure out if I'm herxing or flaring off and on every 3-4 days. (Bilateral hip, knee, ankle, and hand pain stiffness and swelling.) These are classic Bart symptoms for me.

This has been going on for 3wks now. Right after my doctor switched my Lyme antibiotics (took me off an IV cephalosporin). I'm now taking IV Invanz and IV Levaquin daily.

So I'm wondering if this is a flare and my symptoms are getting worse since being off my old antibiotic or a herx from being on the new Invanz?

My Lyme symptoms seem better right now but the bartonella symptoms keep flaring like crazy!

Does anyone know if Invanz helps to treat bartonella? Or maybe my old Lyme antibiotic was working better to help keep the bartonella symptoms in check.

Thanks!!!
