I woke up last night around 2-3am feeling dizzy, confused, nauseated, heart racing, panicky, and drenched in sweat. I also had a little bit of heart pain, but I feel that time to time.

3 days ago I started the salt/c. I am also on Mepron, Zithro and Bactrim and herbals.

Something like this has only happened once back in October a few weeks after starting my meds. The past 2 days I have not been feeling good at all. I had to force myself to go to the kitchen and I guzzled down lemon water. 20 minutes later I fell right back to sleep after I felt better. Was this a herx? I dont want to be harming my body with all of this salt/vitamin c and have it interact with my meds. I am only up to 4 times a day with the salt/c. I'm going back down to 3 times a day till next week.

I'm certainly no expert but it's clearly the salt/c that you've recently added in. Not sure about the safety of the combo you are doing. Can you ask your LLMD's office via telephone and get a quick response? Well, maybe Monday!

If the combo is okay, which it probably is, you need to cut back even more for now and then work your way up gradually. Maybe even start over in a day or two after you are feeling better. I would even start with one low dose 1/4 tsp the first day. Drink lots.

Take care,

I have never done salt/c but have treated babesia. I have woken many nights in this same condition.
